Dr. Reji. M.A

Dr. Reji. M.A graduated in Commerce from St. Peter’s College, Kolenchery (University of Kerala) in 1984 and took his M.Com from Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara (Mahatma Gandhi University) in 1987. After post-graduation he joined the Department of Commerce, St. Peter’s College, Kolenchery as Jr. Lecturer in 1989. He secured M. Phil from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharastra in 1992 and completed his doctoral studies at the PG and Research Department of Commerce, Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara (Mahatma Gandhi University)and secured Ph.D in 2006. He became an approved Research Guide in Commerce in MG University in 2011 and was appointed as the head of the PG and Research Department of Commerce in 2015. 9 scholars are doing research under his guidance and supervision. Dr. Reji. M.A has been serving as the principal of this institution since 1-7-2017. He has served as a member of Academic Council in Maharaja’s Autonomous College, Ernakulam and Member of Board of Studies in Rajagiri Autonomous College of Social Science, Kakkanad, External expert in the Research Centre’s of Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha and St. Xavier’s College for Women Aluva, and external expert for Ph. D thesis pre submission in Kerala University, subject expert for selection of assistant professors in colleges affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. He has published 40 research papers in various national and international journals and edited 2 conference proceedings and served as the chief editor of Indian Commerce Bulletin and contributed chapters to 8 books. He is serving as the Finance Education Resource Person of Securities Exchange Board of India and an active member of the Commerce Association of Kerala. He has completed 22 years of official service, one year as the Head of the Department and three months as the Principal.

As the Principal and alumnus of this prestigious institution, his constant endeavour is to make the college gain new heights in academic excellence and lift it to revel in its rich tradition.
