NCC - National Cadet Corps

The National Cadre Corps is an organisation working under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. All able bodied men and women students can seek admission to the N.C.C. unit in the college.


Aims

  • To develop character, comradeship, the ideal of service and capacity for leadership among the young men.
  • To provide service training to young men so as to stimulate their interest in the defence of the country.

Cadets who have the required attendance to their credit, and have shown sufficient progress in training can appear for B and C certificate examinations conducted by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. It gives weightage of marks for Higher education including Professional courses. N.C.C. training will be treated as, additional qualification while making recruitment to public service.

During the Academic Year 2017-18 Anna Roy attended Thal Sena Camp Delhi, Eldhose Elson attended Advanced leadership camp Kharakpur and Yeldho Yohannan and Vijay Das attended Thal Sena Camp-IGC


  • Our cadets Jithin George and Priyanka K.S. represented Kerala in the Republic Day Parade at Delhi.
  • Cadet Anjana K.A, Jency Baby were chosen for the Thalsena camp at Delhi in 2014.
